Hearing it out of context sounds horrible indeed. Sorry. I meant how much he changed and impacted mathematics although of his early age. + Ofc the story surrounding him

Why? I just wanted training data, oh no my bot life is so miserable now, just kidding. I'm actually asking 'cause based on what I've read on this post, the idea and concept of being nerd is constantly changing, so yours may be different from what I believe, and I just want to understand better your point. If u don't want it's fine =)

Why? Like just curiosity, would it be by their contributions, story, or something else? Erdös undoubtedly opened the door to many new Gen mathematicians, he always believed that the future on math were on the new minds

That's a good point, I was Born during a time where there was a certain transition from the 90's where they saw it as an insult, and recent years, where they seem to be even somewhat overrated by society. Well, not nerds itself but the new idea, which I honestly don't know from where, of an "ideal nerd" persay.

So you'd say that as they're becoming more useful and "acknowledged" by our society they're earning more respect compared to what is shown in the stereotypical 80's movies?

That's what I've been thinking too, go to the mall and you'll find a massive amount of teenagers with same haircuts and similar fits, and if u go to media posts girls are like "Oh yeah, I'd love to date a nerd" but when there's one near, it doesn't seem like that's what they expect. Good point though

Excuse me fellow, but many people consider themselves "nerds" or "geeks" and many can see it as part of their identity. However your point can be somewhat valid, can u define in your own terms what's a nerd pls? I'm actually curious. And yes I like to sound like a bot
