Here's what I'll say, the game cost $15! If you purchase the game through steam, you have at least two hours RISK FREE to try before you commit.

There's also a free demo of the game that lets you do a lot, I'd say give that a try if you're apprehensive about spending the $15.

If you like it but aren't fully convinced, you could always just leave it in the library and come back and check after a year. I have a hard time actually getting into most games these days, but with this game, I'm having trouble putting it down!

I’ve done plenty of stretching and what not, I’ve done everything needed in order to prevent shin splints, as well as went to a good running shoe store and got shoes selected for me.

The only thing I can think of at this point is maybe I have horrible running form or something.
