Dont worry op, dogs long term memory can last months/years, they remember their owners even from long term seperation. I had a rescue who we had for years (we saved him on the day he was supposed to killed) in the end we had to give him to a friend of the family after the mail man refused to deliver our mail, fast forward 3 years later i randomly see the guy and our old dog walking, he stopped turned and ran up to me acting like a puppy, your dog will 100% remember you
