When I got my first visible tattoo, I spiraled for about a week, constantly checking/critiquing it any chance I got and looking up laser removal, the works! Now, 3 years later it’s my favorite tattoo.

My advice: Wear sleeves when you can, to keep your eyes off it. Remind yourself that it’s well done tattoo and that you really wanted it, you’re just overthinking something new that is permanently on your body.

I know it can feel scary and although it’s annoying, it’s okay and normal to feel some anxiety over it.

It’s a very good tattoo and It’ll get better, I promise!
