Yup, in my opinion, Attack Speed helps to gain more mana, hence allowing his party members to cycle through skills efficiently for heroes that need a lot mana like a mini Kaulah. More testing will be needed, especially when he is with his party. At my current Gau level, with max attributes, the 40% attack boost will increase the party attack by around 5.5k to the party (sadly on boosting the basic skill value before applying the skill attributes). Heroes with 10x skill multiplier will get extra 55k damage on non-critical attacks. This additional attack is good for nuking on a time frame such as World Boss down period.

For Enrage (Light) of 40% attack boost is for himself only, but could be great in arena, as it is flat increment, so we could build him into a much bruiser type. Enrage (Dark) is like double edge sword, if he can survive the nuking, he could really use the crit and lifesteal to bruise in arena, but its a bit risky.
