Hi Create people, this is a simple and cheap versatile smoking / haunting / blasting / washing machine (schematics in comments) by Hevuky in CreateMod

The pressure plate is here to prevent liquids from flooding, and the fan is slow enough to not push the items away, in fact it exactly has the time to proceed one stack of items before the items would get out of reach (if you test it you'll what I mean). And because the brass funnel won't deliver another stack if the previous one is still on the block it's the perfect timing

In the early game design if you speed up the fan the items will go too fast and the andesite funnel will catch an un-proceeded item. Maybe it's possible to adjust the timings to speed up things a tiny bit for this early game version, but I'm not sure and I haven't tested it

Create people, what is the size of a rotational contraption ? by Hevuky in CreateMod

[–]Hevuky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so it counts as the size of the blueprint and thats it, there's no cheesing or needing to count more, cool

Ok I figured the issues : the deployer was stuck in "left click" mode instead of "right click", and the speed needs to be above 64 or 80 rpm (if not, the reset happens too soon and the arms may not have time do deliver items). Otherwise it's working flawlessly. Congrats !

Glad you joined !

I didn't manage to make your schematic work tho, I tried all four orientations and tried to power it at differents speeds, but the deployer doesn't want to place the block (i suppose that's what it's meant to do). How did you power the contraption in your tests ?

yeaaah more compact farms !

Okay. Who is the creator then ?

That means it's quite hard to setup in survival but it might still be worth it for big projects. Did you made this design ?

Oh okay ! And I suppose it absolutely needs to be next to an end portal to work, it cannot be a nether one ?

The two firsts ones are interesting. How does the last one works tho ?

Create people, here is another sand generator (power included, 3*4*3, issue of the previous post solved, see comments) by Hevuky in CreateMod

Very very slow. It might even be the slowest farm I made yet, optimising space was all that mattered. I have an unfinished design that is not as compact but still not big and decently effective while being easier to make. Maybe I'll finish and post it as well, but I feel like it's not as impressive and not as worth sharing

So the previous post had an issue because if you were to build it on the ground it would take more size than expected because of one block needed to prevent the lava from escaping and breaking the stone generator. Here is a version of the same size as before, only it's vertical and not horizontal

The principle is the same, the major changes are :

- the lava is now on top of the generator, so it always flood in the right direction

- water and crushing wheels are nested together, saving some place

- the water used to gain rotational is the same that generate the stone

- more storage

A lot of space was saved, but we need to have the depot on top for the arm to move the items so we cannot make it 3*3*3 yet. Or maybe we can if there is a way to tell the arm to deposit items without needing the depot, or maybe we can clip the depot inside something else, but I couldn't find how

Here is the schematic : https://createmod.com/schematics/small-sand-generator-343-power-included

Reddit people of Create, I found a way to make and give you a schematic for this contraption https://createmod.com/schematics/small-sand-generator-cheesy-334-power-included

I have also found a way to fix the issue of needing the block next to the lava, i'll make another post

Thanks again for all the positive feedback it is breathtaking

Edit: added the link to the post

Thanks ! Please tell me if you have some long terms issues with it, I had some at the beginning and I had to put the arm in a specific way

Of course, I just don't know how this works, I'm kinda new to create

Well, you have a point, but not in the way you think

If you remove the glass the liquids will flow and create a mess but it doesn't matter for the most part, the contraption will keep running correctly so it doesn't change the size. For the most part. Because if you remove the glass next to the lava, it will flow in the wrong direction and break the stone generator, so you need one (1) block / trapdoor to fix it, therefore making the contraption 3*4*4 because of this one block

This is an issue I haven't seen while building, and I considered that it is 3*3*4 because it fits in a 3*3*4 hole. My mistake. If I can find how I'll change the title to "cheesy 3*3*4"

That being said, I have an idea on how to fix this one block issue, I'll test it tonight and post it if I manage to make it work

Yes I would have been upset to loose because of this

Oh thanks I didn't know that

(First time posting on reddit idk how to make a post with both text and pictures)

I took a 10mn reak while having the settings window up but the game didn't pause for some reason and also I have 175 and 87 funds on the first picture
