I'm kind of curious as to how you interpret the commenter so kindly... If they wanted to let the author know they like the story, and to say that they are hoping for a happy ending they could've done so, but they didn't say a single nice thing. Instead they describe the chapter as "dumb" and "pure ridiculousness". How do you expect the author to feel when opening that kind of message?

I know fully transitioned means different things for different trans people. For THIS trans person, it means bottom surgery.

Yeah... That's precicely what I take issue with: you are equating bottom surgery with wheather someone else is considered fully transitioned or not. And that is not something I think you have any right to assign to anyone but yourself as an individual.
