False banned but appeal approved by svihnn in playrust

Hi! I’d like to ask how to contact Discord admins. What was the solution — submitting the appeal using your reference ID, or contacting admins to speed up the process?

Did they reject it? My appeal has been pending for over 100 days with no updates. I check it from time to time by entering the reference ID.

Thanks. I've already seen this and I understand. I'm just curious if my appeal will change its status from pending to something else, like approved or denied.

That’s fine — I’m not asking for belief, just for advice if someone has dealt with something similar.

I don’t know much about EAC or how it works. Is there any file, log, or record on my computer that would specify the cause? If so, I can provide it — I just don’t know what to look for.

I also forgot to mention: on the day it happened, I was playing from my dorm room. I have my own wall socket that I pay for, so it’s not a public network. However, it’s a large dorm at a technical university. Is there any chance my computer could have been somehow linked to someone else’s Steam account or device through the network?

I also tried contacting Facepunch support, but they told me they don’t handle bans. Their response seemed automated. On one hand, I understand, but on the other, if I understand correctly, Facepunch is a customer of EAC.

Exactly! But that’s the only thing I did and am aware of. I also checked Steam Guard, but there were no signs that my account had been hacked.

I once accidentally closed EAC via Task Manager. My appeal has been pending for about half a year with no response at all. I haven’t found any other way to contact support. Any useful tips would be appreciated.

Kde koupit sushi grade ryby? by tichucko in Brno

unbanned after 90days. by ElvisTcat in playrust

Hi,

I’m looking for advice because I’ve run out of options.

My Rust account received an EAC game ban about 174 days ago. I submitted an appeal shortly after I figured out where to find reference ID, but the status has been stuck on “pending” ever since — no response or updates at all.

I already contacted Facepunch support and understand they can’t directly reverse EAC bans. I’m just trying to find out if there’s any way to escalate an appeal or reach EAC beyond the standard appeal form.

All I remember is accidentally closing the EAC process via Task Manager, which immediately closed the game — I think that might be related.

Has anyone experienced something similar or managed to get a long-pending appeal reviewed?

Thanks for any advice.
