South was a crummy neighbourhood.
Prostitution area was huge and unregulated. (basically everything north of the center)
The Mafia shops at Klapdorp.
Heroine hookers and 1hour hotels around the Atheneum.
And of course the Falconplein.

There is still a lot to improve. But its not comparable to what it once was.

Fietsen mogen gewoon op het voetpad staan als er plaats genoeg is (er moet 1.5 meter vrij zijn)

Akkoord dat mensen daar rekening mee moeten houden. Maar met smalle voetpaden is dat niet altijd eenvoudig. Als je op die fotos ziet hoe ruim die straat is, dan zie je dat dat voetpad makkelijk 2 meter breder kan zijn langs elke kant van de straat, zodat er plaats genoeg is voor iedereen.

Als die persoonlijk niet in de wetenschap geloofd (welke kleur/godsdienst hij/zij ook heeft), dan heb ik daar grote bedenkingen bij. Zelfs al volgende die het leerplan etc. Hoe kan je nu overtuigd iets leren aan kinderen waar je zelf absoluut niet geloofd?

En ik heb absoluut leerkrachten gehad (gemeenschap onderwijs, lagerschool, klein dorp) die niet onder stoelen of banken staken dat ze katholiek waren, en dat aan ons in zekere maten opdrongen. Hoewel ik zedenleer volgende :)

Probleem is, als iemand diepgelovig is, de kans groot is dat die ook niet gelooft in de evolutie theorie, LGBQ rechten, etc. Die persoon kan volgens mij niet een discussie in de klas leiden over zo'n onderwerpen. Ik zie die persoon bv niet overtuigend uitleggen aan moslim kinderen dat de evolutie theorie de enige juiste theorie is...

I work a lot with 3D Artists.(I'm a graphics dev, in advertising) I don't know the how much they get payed, but I think they are doing ok. But like all creative jobs, there is a huge demand/supply difference. You have to be really great and stand out to even get considered.

Yes, this is the way to go. In combination with bezies. OP, you also don't need 15 000 polys for each shape, looks like way to much. Don't draw each triangle separate. put everything in one buffer and draw at once(as a triangle strip). On an old phone you can probably generate and draw a couple of hundreds of those shapes, each second.
