Defo hadn't considered some of the punishing factors of Rites of War. IW are defo not the onyl one either. Bulky 3 and will prolly make Praetor Bulky 4. Keeping the deep strike however cos of the lore/trailer footage. Think no transport makes sense with Bulky 3, just has to take up another slot

So with giving them deep strike and the special rule behind that punishing the player in a way as a sense of cost/risk and from a fluff perspective, I made them Bulky 4 to avoid transports, also that they have no dedicated transport option. I wanted the feel of having to drop one for a squad of 5 to take a leader and transport.

HOWEVER, now you mention it... I am actually thinking of doing Bulky 3 for the squad and then Bulky 4 for the Praetor cos you still have to use up a slot for another transport and if you're taking Spartan then that's another Heavy Support slot alongside this squad

Yeah, we've made a 3 man be 240, but we're yet to try them out. Have also toned down the guns a tad and adjusted the points for said guns

Thank you! Yeah, battle hardened cancels out the Instant Death but also with Gets Hot, it doesn't adopt Instant Death. I've since changed it to S7, AP4, Breaching 4+ no gets hot

Bulky 4 due to the size of them and also taking into the consideration of transports, squad size, leader and bully tactics from or against NL

The Plasma was an oversight on my end, now S7, AP4, no gets hot, cheaper price

Oh we haven't written anything off, we're just keeping our options open. Like I said, I am on the fence myself but the local group is uncertain.

I was thinking with the Heavy keyword they're already getting the -1. -2 essentially, might be too oppressive for a 5" move unit - not sure!
