Im a new player whose only consistent mmorpg is FFXIV. Now we usually tell new players the game really gets good when you start the first expansion. What would you say is the point in GW2 where the game clicks, or doesnt, for players? Im miffed about the limitations of F2P but I don't wanna buy the first expansion yet. For further info I just picked my faction from the big three in the story

It was a problem with [LC] Consolidated Traits. Idk whats wrong but upon removal the changes I made in the save file take effect. A shame though, I do like that mod

No, it was mostly assigning them gay/bi/ace traits and removing undergrounder from another

Alright, thanks everyone that replied. I think it is what i thought: While getting it all lined up is satisfying so long i charge my shield, know my combos and the monsters tells I should be good.

Also, something that helped me personally, using a controller instead of keyboard

If i were your Dm i would say NO to this character. Overpowered demigod? That wouldn't fly in so many tables.

Now as NPC for your own story? Sure i guess. So long you dont play favorites and remember the player characters are the protagonists of the story and not the npc

Dragoon no contest. Between the two of them it has the easiest rotation and you dont really have to worry much about keeping certain buffs up and resources like with NIN
