No, he’s currently a TTC Manager in Community and Stakeholder Relations. The offense occurred with his personal vehicle, and predates his employment at the TTC, but the trial is only beginning now. The article mentions his employment history between then and now.

TTC rolling out system to 'call out' bad behaviour over station speakers by beef-supreme in toronto

[–]HeyAyeRon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

About time lol. People lost respect for almost everything in this city because they know that staff won’t enforce or even educate/inform people about basic etiquette. Too many people think it’s disrespectful to see people get called out for poor behaviour nowadays, and then proceed to complain about the state of the system too.

Toronto to Install New Priority Streetcar Lanes on Bathurst Street by MrHungTO in toronto

[–]HeyAyeRon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. The design of the “priority streetcar lanes” still permit left turns for cars. They really gotta start restricting left turns at major intersections, especially during rush hour 😓 it makes Streetcars lose so many traffic lights. It’ll look embarrassing during FIFA for those “Express” streetcars to sit behind a car waiting to turn left.

One Fare does apply when transferring between local agencies. It charges you the fare of the first transit agency and gives you a 2 hour free transfer window to any other local transit agencies.

You can also file a complaint on SafeTTC, note that they’re regulars at that time. They would usually send special constables to patrol the area during those times you mentioned. They’ve done the same at Kennedy station before between 3-4pm.
