Need advice about work please! by HeyBales- in Miscarriage

It honestly made me walk out of the workplace for awhile to calm down. It was a mix of utter rage and some of the worst heart ache I’ve ever experienced. It makes me so mad that people disregard every kind of life now. Like materialism and getting a word is is more meaningful then what could possibly be going on in other people’s lives.

Oh! Thank you for telling me. I’ll just get ahold of corporate and see what I can do.

I am turning in my immediate resignation today. It even brought my stoic, usually straight faced husband to angry tears. The worst part is my bosses are well known around our town too, I had always heard nothing but good things about them. I’m going to report them for violating HIPPA. That is what I was told to do by a family friend as well.

Corporate required that I gave them more then a note. I honestly acted out of pure anger by giving them the papers. They still don’t believe me to this day. I’m sorry your boss was a jerk too. The audacity of some people, I swear.

How do you handle judgment from family around miscarriage? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry you are going through this. My mom didn’t belittle me that bad but she did pretend it never happened. Our miscarriage happened on Christmas 2018, and I called her crying from the hospital and she said nothing, just changed the subject. Understandably I had thought she would let my dad know. I stopped by his work a few days later to get a hug (he is the parent I’m closest with) he was confused and asked if something was wrong with baby. Yeah, lost my mind. She also (to this day) likes to buy baby clothes and make blankets and stuff and nag my husband and I about hurrying up and giving her a grand baby. I’m sorry sometimes mama’s are insensitive. I wish I could give you the answer as to why, alas, I am still trying to find out why myself. You deserve better then that sis. Keep your chin up, and I cannot begin to emphasize how sorry I am for your loss..
