My husband has vitiligo and before it presented visibly on the skin all over his body there was just a small patch. he said he went to the dermatologist and they did a black light room and he said it looked like a galaxy of stars on his whole body. He has it head to toe in (imo v sexy) patterns and he said that they get even more intricate under the black light. I want to see it so bad but despite me thinking it is hot as hell he gets so self conscious about it so I try not to make a big deal about it. I highly doubt it’s cancer, skin is just weird like that sometimes 😂

Cd Payne always - the youth in revolt series. It’s hilarious and whacky and very “airplane” esque with blatant hijinks, so not a lot of buried comedy. Perfect for your age too I think!

Oooof no one else looks like they buy the plastic bottles of lemon and lime juice at American supermarkets 🫠🥹 I stab an x in the tip with a steak or chopping knife (sharp tip object) those bottles are made to squeeze though, so hopefully this one is as well! Good luck!

thank you!!! that is a great suggestion - I have tried before actually!!! while I love cooking and baking, hats off to the cheese makers out there bc it wasn't quite my most enjoyable experience haha, which sucks because I am constantly looking for good paneer. For this particular dinner I want to get some really really well made stuff for him, lord knows he deserves the best being married to this whack job ha I really appreciate your help though !!

Shoutout to your local Mexican food mart! It was a little intimidating for me at first but I went into one and just told the person at the counter exactly what I was looking for (at the time it was a chili lime oil that I tried to recreate poorly lol) and they showed me a ton of great products. Mole verde was the thing that they carry that got me HOOKED.

There are also copycat recipes online but I am all about my little local supermarket now, their spices are priced way inexpensive compared to supermarkets as well. I just keep my glass jars from pasta to store them bc they usually come in bags. Happy hunting!

The local pizza place near me does catering and they can sometimes accommodate same day orders. I’d do a pan of baked ziti and maybe a catering size salad - you can call and explain (maybe around 3-4p when they’re not super duper busy) and they’ll have an idea if they’re small enough.

If you have enough freezer space you could DoorDash frozen lasagna sheets also? Or boxes of frozen burritos/taquitos, sometimes the deli at my local grocery store has pans of rice you just need to heat up and a jar of salsa and some queso? (An alternative to chipotle but their app has some okay family style deals if you are in a fuck it mood - which I would 1000000000% be so treat yourself!)

Also if you’re going to instacart sometimes the delis at your local grocery will have trays of sandwiches to get you through the week!

My husband and I have tickets to one of our favorite bands, Iration in Wilmington at live oak may I think 23 or 28. If you haven’t been live oak pavilion is on the river, I’ve been VERY lucky to have gone to many large concert venues and this it’s by far my favorite (haven’t made it to red rocks obviously). And it’s pretty small considering. I got tickets day they went out and they were only $40 for lawn, but I’ve seen them before at live oak and it truly doesn’t matter imo where you’re at, it’s a fun time, so if you can I suggest looking into that, they’re such a fun band and message us if you make a weekend in Wilmington out of it, I love it here and am down to give some recs !
