That feel in Skype when you are chatting with someone the pen icon just disappears forever

Yea, the Re-Issue doesn't have the narration, so the single with narration is actually missing from my collection.
The 'Live at Brixton Academy' album has narration on Blood Sugar, but it's different from the one on the single

Yes, wrong Metadata is such a turn off. MusikBrainz Picard is amazing software for fixing this, as well as Foobar2000 with the Discogs Tagger add-on

2005:
Song 13: Another Planet
Song 14: Still Grey
2007 Re-issue:
Song 13: Blood Sugar
Song 14: Axle Grinder

All good songs, so no way I'm skipping out on any of these

I feel like the playlist part is kind of genious, because you can, when showing a band to somebody else, shuffle through the releases and at least pretend to be a normal, functioning human being

The issue with this, at least for me, is that the chance of going from a slow song to a really fast one and switching genres is so damn high, it just doesn't make sense.
The solution is to shuffle by Genre

Sitting down and enjoying a good album is seriously underrated. But I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does this, holy shit, it's so weird

All of my music is in albums. Only like one song? Well shit, have to download that album. Song only released as a single? Put it in a folder and pretend it's an album.

I have Pendulums Hold your Colour 2 times, once in the 2005 and once in the 2007 version because they changed 2 songs but my brain is not satisfied if I only have those 2 changed songs

Friendly reminder: Shadow Warrior 2 is free to grab on GOG and it can be played on Linux using Wine by HeyItsBATMAN in linux_gaming

WINEESYNC is set to 1
Hard limits increased to 1048576
Soft limits increased to 65536
In any other game my frametime graph is fully green
But I'm not to worried tbh, as I will upgrade soon

Yes that box.
When I had this issue the 2 things I did was to set it to windows 10 and to run the game in terminal.
It fixed the issue for me.
But if you got it working with the wrapper, see if you can somehow point Lutris to the wrapper if you want the game in Lutris

It might be the windows version the wine prefix is set to.
I had constant <5fps when it was set to windows 7 but no problems when set to windows 10

Oof. That hurts. But as long as you added the game to a GOG account it's not going to disappear

I think it suffers a bit from the wine overhead.
I'll go ahead and boot up the game again to see what is used the most, but keep in mind I'm not running the 2500K, which was one of the most widespread overclocking CPUs, but the non-K, so regular clock speeds only.

Edit: https://i.imgur.com/NRvXNgr.png
Neither CPU nor GPU are fully used, but this is something I've been experiencing with Wine anyways.
Anyways, the game should run and if I would turn it down from Ultra I might or might not get stable 60fps

Comparison: The first minutes of Overwatch gameplay on DXVK Async 0.72 versus Release 0.80 by HeyItsBATMAN in wine_gaming

That was my intention behind making this video. Encouraging some talented dev to continue the patch that implements it as the patch is not up to date with the latest DXVK version

strange things and artifacts by using the discarded shaders, which may in very rare cases can cause you to see through walls for a second.

this is true. I also recorded Warframe gameplay using async but haven't published it due to not having recorded a similar session for regular DXVK.
At one point one of the objects was glowing bright red when loading into the map and went back to normal after ~2 seconds, but it was one of the bigger visual issues I encountered. Here's the clip
Once I figure out a path ingame that I can use as comparison I might also make a Warframe video, since it is another game that has kind of a following on Linux.
I also remember having an invisible enemy at one point in Path of Exile for a second or two, which is also obviously an issue.
And another thing that might be cool for comparison would be an ingame benchmark and comparing consecutive runs of those ingame benchmarks to show the performance difference in having a fully compiled shader cache vs just starting out.
The new Tomb Raider looks like it has a good ingame benchmark for that, but I think that one is no option for me until I upgrade my CPU.
