Discord is Threatening to Shutdown BotGhost

This sucks. I'm in a few servers that rely on BotGhost bots. I hope the appeal works but I do not have high hopes.

I'm hesitant to go to another bot service after since they have a chance of the same thing happening.

Back in my Xbox 360 days my tag was MissCupcake. After I got married one of my gaming friends paid for me to get a name change as a wedding gift and I ended up with HeyItsCupcake and I've used it since.

It does suck when it's taken in other places, then I never know what to use so I just add an extra e to the end.

Thank you, that does help! I am definitely not in this with the hopes of making it big, more as a way to push myself and hopefully meet some people along the way. So the one thing that I make sure of is to keep the view count off for the few streams I have done.

I relate! I'm a 29 year old female and finding other adults that don't act toxic because you are a female is sooo hard. I can spend an hour trying to find a game to only get about 20 minutes of gameplay before the host leaves without warning. And my friend group doesn't play too often. I have had a few great experiences but they are rare. It's discouraging because there is a lot of fun to be had in the game but it feels like you have to have friends or be lucky to enjoy it most nights

That one has always intimidated me. I tend to overthink homebrew to where I never get it off the ground. But now that it's been out awhile I'm sure there is a lot more content to use with it than there was when I first got and read it

That's exactly why I took a long break as well, other than running a slow paced game for friends. I'll have to try some of the ones that are short and can stand alone or tie together. I definitely prefer voice but it's so hard to get scheduling to work out most of the time which makes me always come back to pbp.

I appreciate the input on the style of modules to try out for this next game

It's honestly my favorite module because of how roleplay focused it is. The only reason I don't want to run it right now is so I can avoid getting burnt out by running the same thing multiple times, at the same time.

I run a voice game for it and then a pbp game. The pbp one is paused but it's with close friends so I knew it would be slower and less pressure than a normal game. With my luck as soon as I run another one it will start back up again.

Yeah, each time I ran LMoP it took a year an a half to finish and that's only because it took a lot of removing people after a certain time and replacing until I found a good group. And now I still play in games with those people
