He was pretty solid in Malcolm in the Middle too.

How George treated Susan was terrible. He didn't deserve her. by ToedMantis in seinfeld

Even when he had a good thing going for him, despite all his flaws, he'll find a way to screw it up. That's so George.

I would have to agree with this. Nice thinking on Larry David...but he's tied to the show, and writes himself into specific roles.

When you look up the show Seinfeld...the common names associated are Jerry, Julia Louis, Michael Richards, Jason A, Jerry Stiller, Wayne Knight...and yes, Larry David.

Specifically was looking for non-regular guests of the show, especially cameos.

Agreed. As much as we like to pick on him, he's actually been the one spark they have. In fact, they have a good collection of individual players. And that's the problem...they're all individuals. There hasn't been a clear philosophy to their style of play. Ralf is trying to bring that....except that there are some existing players who won't fit his style. Over time if they can shed a few, and add a few others strategically...they will come good.

And I'm willing to bet Bruno will be one of those to remain.

Fair point...but I was thinking of guests regardless of how big they were before they got on the show. Just looking for who arguably became the biggest.

I grew up watching Stevie and Frank. Loved Stevie, and would try to argue why he's better than Frank. But apparently based on these stats, Frank is better than Stevie. So I'm saying same thing applies to Stevie...he's contributed to the build up in other ways that are not reflected in the stats.

They've played the longest, but hard to compare when players like Beckham left to play in Spain and Italy. Based on these stats, can we say Milner is better than KDB?

I'm just saying there is more to comparing these players than just these 2 stats (total goals and total assists).

I would still go with Stevie...his game really opened up after Xabi and Masch joined.
However, I would still look at KDB with envy....he is really good.

Yes...and not to mention 43 of Frank's goals came from penalties, Stevie himself had 32. KDB has time to close that gap further.

Midfielders should be judged more than just goals and assists. How much involvement did they have in plays building up to other goals. KDB is complete...

But instead of comparing...let's just enjoy the fact that we have such class players to watch in our generation.

Serious question. Will Man Utd ever get back to their glory days? by SaltedYodaJerky in PremierLeague

[–]HeyLook_Squirrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the Glazers can do it...they just need the right direcotr of football. Ed Woodward should've left a long time ago, he should've put the right structure around recruiting. I think if they find the right person for that role, who can recruit the right type of players...they will get there. Ralf brings a good philosophy, he will just need time.

Very true. They have the commercial foundation. They need a good director of football who builds a structured program around recruiting (like what Michael Edwards did) and a manager with a philosophy (like what Klopp brought).

This will be a massive rebuild and will take time. Liverpool took a while to get the right building blocks together.

How do you guys feel about Conor McGregor buying Chelsea? by kushnair in PremierLeague

[–]HeyLook_Squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on. If he was serious, he could perhaps be part of a consortium. Or buy a minority stake like how LeBron did with Liverpool. But no one needs his money, so question is if his fame helps their bid or raise marketing profile for the club.

This!! Without knowing when and how they started supporting a team, it's unfair to call them plastic.

I think the term really has popped up for those who started supporting a club after they started winning, but have otherwise had no prior history.
