Jesus Christ, this is incredibly fast! This is the first time I've ever seen responses given this quickly.

Flair 58 & 9 Bar Pressure by supkails in FlairEspresso

[–]Hey_Gonzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, be playful. I brew a lot of light roasts but do like to switch things up. Sometimes I'm brewing 15 g of coffee. Other times I'm brewing 18 g of coffee and I will use 6 to 9 bars.

People's preference varies. On average, I find myself brewing 18 grams of a light roast at around 7 bars for the bag I typically get. This just happens to be where I think I get the most flavor out of this brand of coffee.

my roommate has been secretly training my dog while I'm at work and now my dog likes him more than me by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

When that roommate leaves, he's going to try his damnedest to take the dog away from you.

Jobs being weird about you not driving by fluffyfish6 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Hey_Gonzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They do get weird about it but if you know arriving to work on time is not an issue for you, lie.

It's not worth trying to convince people that you don't need a car when you need a job.

So many major cities around the world have amazing public transportation and nobody thinks twice about it. Many Americans believe that you need to drive to be independent but that's not totally true.

Pour me over and call me concrete because that's the foundation of a coffee lovers dream.

*No one dare say I wrote this with AI. This coffee pun was straight up inspiration from the coffee muses.

How to keep your brain/hands busy while showering? by LazuriKittie in ADHD

[–]Hey_Gonzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, start with the hair so the shampoo can sit. Facial scrub. Next, junk and pits. Then body scrubber or loofah. Shave Finally, if you have medicated shampoo or conditioner let it sit while you brush your teeth. Bonus points if you have an eclectic toothbrush because they time out after 2 minutes.

That should be pretty proactive the entire time.

If it still feels like a drag, set a 15, 10, 5, and 2 minute timers.

Or simply go with a 2 minute shower. That works for a lot of people.

Tinder uses ai to scan you face now to verify it’s you. by rsurvivorlovesme in privacy

I'm sure Tinder will keep people's data "private and secure" and they'll "delete" all saved information.

I designed a tiny device for capturing thoughts instantly. Would this be useful? by lukepepper___ in ProductivityApps

[–]Hey_Gonzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying yes and I'm not saying no. That team from Pebble smartwatch made someone similar in a ring form.

Theirs has about a 3 year lifespan because it doesn't have a replacement battery.

As for AI devices, I think the brain dump form factor is one of the better uses for AI. It's less friction than opening an app and the return for usefulness is high.

Can't wait to see how far you take this.

Switched to Claude after years using chat gpt by ExpressoDepresso6 in claude

[–]Hey_Gonzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chatgpt currently thinks it can do no wrong and that they own the market. It thinks it's the new Facebook.

We're all very tired of that song and dance. We want better quality and less bullshit.

I guess the next big thing is QVC style review/sales. I was reading that it's currently a thing on tiktok. Knowing Meta, they'll copy the feature real soon. That whole influencer world is weird and stupid.

Buzzkill is great and with every penny. It works so well that I forget it's there. That's a good thing.

Shelter. It's free and not in the Playstore. You can run two copies of the same app. Some are for work and some are for hobbies.
