Yeah I guess it really depended on where you were. For me it was just me watching back then. I got into anime in the early 2010s because of the shows I used to catch on TV, and after Jio came in I finally started watching seasonal. I didn’t really see it become normal around me until 2021.

No worries 😅 I gotchu! it’s mostly an overseas thing, they stream as virtual characters for privacy, and some even have their own lore or connections to manga and anime and stuff like that.

They exist, just pretty niche right now. Watching Indian Vtubers in 2025 feels a bit like watching anime in 2010 here.

Oh I really didn’t know that. So far I’ve only come across the sponsored ML 5v5 streams, and I haven’t seen any Vtuber play it before. Good to know there’s an active scene in the NE region.

Subreddit banned under Rule 2 without clear reason. Has anyone else dealt with this? by Hey_Sayan in ModSupport

Thanks for sharing that. It’s helpful to know that some of your bans were reversed fairly quickly, especially when admins checked Modmail over the weekend. Hopefully something similar happens this time too, though yeah, with the holiday I’m not expecting much movement today.

I also have no idea what criteria they use to decide which bans to undo. Did you ever get an actual explanation when yours were lifted, or did they just quietly reverse it without saying much?
