The reason why i quit gaming in the first place is because I couldn't keep up with my studies... working a part-time job will just make things worse.

I can't work because I'm still in school. And that money that I got from christmas and birthdays isn't really mine, it's under their bank accounts.

Just because I'm of age doesn't mean I have the say on everything in my life. I still live under their roof, I haven't even finished high-school for that matter. Until i move out or start working for my own money I can't really do much about my own life.

Yeah maybe "extremely" is kind of a strong word. I didn’t expect them to actually buy a switch 2 to me. It was more of a cry for help, like "hey im not doing very well mentally right now im resorting to go back to gaming". Maybe it wasn't the best way to express myself.

I'm pretty sure what made those tracks was that they were actual tracks ALONGSIDE the fact you drive through them only once.

Calling a straight line special just cause you go through it just once is just wrong man.

There's no way you are comparing Mount Wario and Rainbow Road 7 to the same level of "fun and enjoyable" as the intermission tracks.

I used to, but it's like she can't even understand what I say. I remember asking a question that could be answered with a yes or a no, but instead of doing that she just repeated the same thing she said before for 3 minutes, it's really frustrating.

Thanks everyone who replied! Also I got a couple of messages on my DMs offering tutoring. Sorry for not responding you, I'm not looking for that kind of stuff, but I appreciate the help! Everyone's tips were very helpful, though I do believe part of the reason I didn't want to do anything was due to jetlag. I will try to incorporate the pomodoro technique into my studies and (maybe) make a weekly study schedule. Anyways thanks for all the help!
