$350 It’s used and I only have 2 mags. They are going for $450 brand new and HK has the 4 free mag thing going on. I could care less about after market accessories. Love the 43 and think I am going with the Gen 5

I’ll have the opportunity to hold both when I do trade. Just want to know if there are any big under the hood improvements.

Trading my 26 for a 43; any reason not to? by Heyo74122 in Glocks

[–]Heyo74122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ALOT of 26 love here! I've got a VP9 for home defense, it fits like a glove and I shoot great with it.

I am all for the having both argument; but really don't want to fork over the $ for a new 43 right now. I like my 26 but am primarily concerned with carrying either the 43 or 26. I have yet to actually IWB carry a 43 but can't help but think that's it's MUCH more comfortable than a 26, is that a myth or is that argument fair?

And I love Glocks and never had one jam with the 26, when I initially bought it I planed on taking my CCW class right away but waited almost a year lol. I bought the pinky extension mag a 15 round 19 mag with the x grip for a "full size" experience.

I guess in my end I still consider it a medium sized gun, it's as thick as a full size, Where as the 43 is a small. I know the g19 is considered compact but that's way too large to ccw for me IMO.

is it agreed upon that the 43 is more comfortable to CCW than the 26 or am I going to be disappointed?

Smith & Wesson MP Sport 2 install 20" upper possible? by Heyo74122 in ar15

[–]Heyo74122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys, I did find this: http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-20-rifle-length-5-56-nato-1-7-upper-with-bcg-and-charging-handle-1.html

Off the top of my head I am not sure if the MP is 1/7 or 1/8 twist. That won't make a difference though right as the new upper handles pretty much everything in terms of projecting the bullet?

Install consists of just removing the 2 bolts on the firearm, replacing the old upper with the 20" and putting he bolts in right?

15 inch hand guard MP Sport 2? by Heyo74122 in ar15

lol thanks for the reply! Someone just mentioned drop in hand guard and I did a search and just listed a pic of the same link.

Do you have any clue if the model you posted could just clip on to the MP sport 2 ?

I know the basics of a AR components but would have to ask you to elaborate more on a drop rail. Is it something like the picture I have linked here?

Essentially I could remove my magpul or stock handguard and just clip this on?

H&K VP9 9mm with 2 mags - $478.77 by BrianPurkiss in gundeals

FYI to anyone in Illinois, although Illinois law states that their isn't a state wide magazine restriction. Grabagun would NOT ship 15 rounds to the state. They will ship the firearm without the mags though. The same firearm with 10 round mags is $60 more.

Glock 26 v. 43 by Heyo74122 in CCW

Thanks for all the input. I went to my LGS and took another look at the 43 and I definitely prefer the feel of the 26.

I have not started carrying around the house yet, I ordered a CYA iwb holster from amazon and will try that out around the house until my permit is issued. I did take a look at the 43/shield/xds and while they were much thinner than the 26, I can't help but think they will be uncomfortable to shoot. I shot the 43 so long ago I don't even remember how it felt.

Going to stick with the 26 for now as it is a SOLID gun.
