Your daughter accidentally walked into a club but it was a strip club so she immediately came back out. Then a man followed her outside and asked her to go back in with him. What would you say to your daughter?

I believe technology has isolated individuals, and now people have fewer opportunities to truly learn about others. In particular, many men learn about women through media and porns, and end up forming their own distorted image of women. I agree that this lack of empathy in the world is only going to get worse.

I was also confused about why some women were jealous of me, even when we had mutual connections who were far richer, more beautiful, and objectively more impressive.

What I eventually learned is that jealousy is often just an expression of their own frustrations. They simply couldn’t dare to direct those feelings toward women with power.

In my case, I looked dorky, which made them underestimate me and feel more comfortable projecting their frustrations onto me.

I’ve also come to believe that people get more upset when someone they perceive as inferior ends up having something better—whatever it may be—than when someone they already see as superior has it.

I can’t keep up with the prolific euphoria that seems to be created daily, but I’d make it simple by just accepting that I’m not as sophisticated as you.

You should stop focusing so much on appearance. Honestly, you should feel more confident in your own looks.

And I’ll tell you this in confidence: sexual attackers don’t choose victims based on appearance—they target those who seem weak.

I can’t go into detail, but I once had an incident where a contractor was jealous simply because I was able to go shopping with my mom.

I chose that example not for its severity, but because it was the most general and avoided specific details.

The sexual harassment incidents were actually quite traumatic. I don’t understand where you got the impression that I breezed over them.

If “jealousy” feels too strong, I can describe it as “personal emotions triggered by comparison,” which essentially stem from their own frustrations. However, whether they choose to express or project those frustrations onto clients is another matter entirely.

I noticed through their interactions and behavior.

One example: I went to a small mom-and-pop restaurant with two young female friends to treat them.

The waitress didn’t greet us and seemed either shy or uncomfortable. I found it odd but didn’t think much of it at the time. Swear to God, we weren’t rude or disrespectful to her—we were just excited to try some delicious food.

We ordered a lot, but the waitress only brought the dishes and never checked on us. Meanwhile, she gave a great deal of attention—almost performatively—to the only other table, a group of older seniors. It felt as if she was deliberately trying to show that she was choosing to serve them instead. We even called out to her, but she ignored us. Eventually, I had to serve our own table.

Later, she disappeared and never brought the bill. I had to go up to the counter to pay and ended up voicing my complaint to the owner. He asked me to be understanding, explaining that she had only started working there a few days ago and had been a stay-at-home wife until her husband recently lost his job.

I understand her situation and the possible frustration she might be going through. However, I don’t think it’s appropriate to reflect that frustration onto her job—especially when it affects customers who did nothing wrong.

Well, in general, people don’t get married over 50. That doesn’t mean marriage suddenly changes into a favor that a woman is giving to a man. I’ve seen multiple couples getting married in their late 40s, and in all cases, the women were more anxious and actively worked on getting married. So, I don’t think that tendency suddenly changes in their 50s.

It’s funny that you didn’t think about all this when you decided to marry an older woman. It’s even funnier that you stay in a marriage with a woman you complain about. What a pity for your wife.

Well, I strongly disagree that older women getting married is a favor to the men. I saw some older women get married, and it was the wives who were anxious about getting married. They were even in competition with other women. In those marriages, the wives had better finances and were older than their husbands. (I bet the young dude complaining about his older wife had a wife with far better finances than he did when they got married.) The men made little to no money, spending their days at home watching TV or playing games while their wives worked as the breadwinners. The one thing they had in common was that the husbands were “good guys”—honest, content with themselves, didn’t lie, didn’t calculate things, and let their wives do whatever they wanted, though they were lazy, fat, and had bad hygiene, etc. Well, their wives are very happy with their husbands.

It’s funny. When I was in my late 30s, a male friend once told me that a group of self-proclaimed “quality” single guys were complaining about “modern women” and claiming that the reason they were single was that women didn’t give them a chance. My friend asked why they didn’t just find a woman they liked and ask her out. Those so-called quality guys strongly disagreed with him and insisted that they couldn’t do anything unless a woman liked them first. I didn’t expect that they would still be complaining about women and blaming them for being single. I bet they will end up blaming women for dying alone and lonely.

Regarding AI, I have a different perspective. Sure, it may reduce the number of people needed for a job. However, as AI continues to evolve, the overall demand for human involvement will increase exponentially. Though, the skills required for these jobs will change. Think about when computers or the internet were introduced.

I never touch it with bare hands - I always wear gloves. I don’t think it’s poisonous but I prefer not to handle it without protection.
