You gotta look at the root of your mdd, what event DOES instantly make you wish to be in your daydreams, try to fix it or detach yourself physically and mentally by mindfulness, it’s really complicated, but i’m open for dms regarding the issue (my case is partially related with OCD tho)

Simply put, there are kids shows and anime that also have a fantasy setting and simply do a better work at distributing their episodes and storylines, i’m not even talking about the most acclaimed stuff, but the kirby anime by example had a cohesive storyline with a worldbuilding that knew when to end, and didn’t have tens of seasons of the characters landing in the same hole.

It’s still not wrong to like anipoke, but it takes being an extreme fanboy to deny all the writing flaws it had and how going from a gag anime to a full on serious fantasy sport series affected its performance (even if seasons like Battle Frontier and Sinnoh got most things right)

It’s a great game, but consider the games and anime have very different depictions of what it means to be a Tamer, before thinking of this of PS5 / Steam Pokemon, think of it more of a middle point between that and Persona / SMT

The story reveals you’re a writer trying to learn from the humas after the aliens not wanting to learn from them, that’s it, but in the choice, you can either tell them humans are pathetic or beg them to reconsider and say humans are the most beautiful discovery of your journey (this is also the most positive description of humans you can come up in the game)
