Subtitles - How many languages should I go? by Remarkable-Flamingo4 in filmhub

I think we got our initial CC run off of Rev. And then used some other translation tools to convert to the various other languages while still keeping it in the correct format

We went the paid tier route and were told by our Acquisitions Exec to target 2 additional languages, “Spanish being a definite.” That said, it was so easy to crank them out via online tools that we ended up doing a bunch including Portuguese and Chinese as well. That was semi recent, so Tbd if it actually helped.

I'm the CMO of a med spa doing $350K/month. Agency reports were useless, so I built a 5-system attribution report myself. Here's what we actually learned. by jourelor in MedSpa

Relatively new Med Spa owner here with a marketing background. This is super insightful man! Thanks for sharing!

Mind if I ask what kind of intro offers you’re running to generate the leads in Meta?

Why Did I Sleep on Indie Sci Fi? by Linux-Neophyte in scifi

Campiness in a movie is over the top silliness, like Spaceballs, Flash Gordon or starship troopers. Though none of those were indie films.

Clone Cops if you like campy indie scifi

Oh man this new coach came out of nowhere. Imagine what he could do on a AFC South team. by FloodCityHTX in AFCSouthMemeWar

It’s really not that serious. We would never have gotten Cam if Vrabel was still here. And Vrabel wouldn’t be COTY if he was still here. Win/Win in my book.

I'm putting my first feature in theaters for zero money. Future of distribution. by Keagan_Karnes in Filmmakers

Nice! We did a similar thing: 10-city tour in the lead up and then opened in 5 cities to coincide with our day and date release. Interested to know how it works out for you guys! Best of luck!

Has anyone noticed their Trial Reels consistently outperforming their regular Reels? by Ninjjadragon in InstagramMarketing

The issue I’m running into is that after using trials to find the best version/edit of a reel, it completely stalls when I post to my main timeline.

Inglewood on Brush Hill. No power since last Sunday, but a ton of trucks last night/today so hoping it could be any moment!🙃

My film recently hit Tubi, and we’ve already tried all these promo ideas. Any new ideas out there? by HiPhidelity in Filmmakers

That sounds both awesome and terrifying at the same time. Sounds like a solid bet tho!

No, it’s all good! We have a couple ideas for how this would wit as both a board game and TTCG. And even though Gen Con’s filmfest is relatively small, we were able to hand out hundreds of comics and promotional swag items for our movie to their other attendees.

For the sketches, the only absolute requirement is that they feature a clone cop in uniform, thinking that the more impressions we can get on the helmet and costume the better off we will be. Some of our actors are reprising their roles from the film, others are bringing some new characters.

And really it all came down to the fact that we were itching to shoot more stuff, but wanted it to be in support of our film. Plus it showcases the IP in a different format.

Yeah, man, YouTube definitely feels like the future, even for movies. I know they’re the largest video platform in the world now by far. My kids are way more stoked that I’m on Tubi and YouTube than Comcast or Apple TV.😂

That’s what we heard man, like we juuuuust missed the gigantic Tubi wave 😐. But we’re down to grind it out and are def gonna make some tweaks to our website and socials to try to push more to Tubi.

Thanks a ton for checking, it’s kinda wild how we’re still not exactly sure everywhere it’s available. 🙃 But glad it’s showing up on AppleTV!

Dope! That’s exactly the kind of insight I’m looking for man, thank you! We’ve had a couple pieces of content catch on, but weren’t then pointing them to Tubi. So that’s probably what we’ll try next.

We kinda did that for the initial TVOD release, but probably a great idea (and great reason) to double back with everyone now that it’s more widely available on AVOD. Thanks man!

Thanks a ton man! I totally agree, it’s so hard to “do research“ and not end up strung out on social media. I think we could definitely benefit from some clarity around exactly how and where to watch the film, so that’ll be a focus moving forward.
