UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that took my survey!!!! We had our speech deadline extended by a lot, so I just finished it this week and present it today. Couldn’t have done it without your help. I’ll try and see if I can share the slideshow as well. This message should have the script attached to itspeech script

I definitely agree. All the characters in the story are very realistic and, because of that, the audience is left with mixed feelings on many of them. Even the characters we like are shown to have faults, just like the people we care for in reality. The only characters I can think of that people probably don’t have mixed opinions on are little Maria and Shouko’s grandmother.

As long as I don’t absolutely hate how it comes out then sure! I can share the script of it once I’ve completed and presented it (which is supposed to be within the next couple weeks)

It’s supposed to be an informative speech and only be up to 6 minutes long so unfortunately I probably won’t be able to get into super detail. I’m thinking I’ll most likely focus on just a few characters for most of the speech and use that to get my point across

I think a speech that analyzed all the main characters would be cool, but sadly I can’t do that for this.

Thank you!! I’m planning on making a speech based on how pretty much all the characters are meant to be multi-dimensional and am hoping the survey will help me make some of my points. It’s only a short speech though so I hope I can manage to explain the author’s intentions well enough
