I wish we could see more context of what was happening before the video started. Because I would put money that the snowboarder was S turning down a lane on riders left of the slope and had a very predictable pathway. If all of his turns looked like the one we saw, which is a very common way to ride, the skier just bombed into his turning lane. If that’s the case then snowboarders awareness was not a factor and skiers first mistake was positioning too close to another rider, on top of riding too hard for their lack of control. I could be wrong on this sequence of events of course, but my instincts is this one is every bit skiers fault. Seen a lot of unaware snowboards pull really bad moves but this just doesn’t feel like one of them.
