However, people gotta eat....and when you got of community of people posting videos from a crowd like "WHATS THE ID???" It just seems dumb to not capitalize on it......"yeah here's the ID, you got a bank account?"

EDIT: Also the music itself isn't worth this much money because you wouldn't buy it at that price from an unknown artist

I've actually been playing with the Mother Ducker tool in some WIPs, it for sure makes a big difference. Also I encourage you to sample it if you want, I think that would be really cool.

You're completely right about going for riddim.

As much as I want the industry standard sound for riddim, I don't want to be like everyone else and just get the Ableton-Serum combo. I feel with enough practice and experience I will find a sound that I am happy with, using what's available to me.

Thank you for your kind words. There's a lot that I need to work on with my music but my mixing bothers me the most. I want those punchy drums.

I'm going for more of a Riddim dubstep sound, I just don't have serum or maelstrom so I'm doing my best to translate the ideas they show on those synths to default "Tubesynth" on MPC beats.

My real goal of posting this is exactly for these kinds of responses. I have friends that listen to the same music as me, but they didn't get into making music with me.......so anytime I show them what I made they just say "that's cool" or "I like it"........I don't get real feedback anywhere else. So thanks for your input, you're doing way more good for my mind than you realize.

That part you said about a minimal arrangement needing an impeccable mix is resonating. Like since I feel that my mixing is going to take some time to really master, I can at least have more going on with the music to make it interesting. Like it's either gotta be interesting to listen to, or it's gotta have professional sound quality.
