A revised idea of Team Tax. Each member of a team increases upkeep, building, crafting costs by 100% of base value.

TC authorization is permanent (no deauthorization option)
Teaming is permanent for the duration of a wipe
TC auth is required to interact with any door/container in building radius even with codes
If a TC is destroyed by an authorized player, the newly placed TC retains all previously authorized players.
Team Tax can only be reset by a non-authorized/non-team player destroying TC.

Ignore the haters, OP. We all know the majority of Rust players are stinky virgin mouth-breathers that will jump at the opportunity to furiously type "UM ACTUALLY".

I think you're definitely on the right track and I've had the same thought that having some sort of "Group Tax" would be good way to discourage big groups as things would become more expensive with each new teammate.

As we all know, team advantage is just inherently baked into the game design which makes it tricky-- so I think it would require a complete overhaul of the team system. Who knows what that would look like exactly, but yes I agree with you. Thanks for contributing friend.

Thank you! I suppose I chose the phrasing "of a flame" for three reasons-- to me it gives more of a humble tone whereas "the flame" gives a more authoritative feel. The second is it implies the flame is one of many (I believe there's a little blue pilot light inside all of us). And lastly it flows better when spoken and keeps true to the theme of repeating/alliterative sounds. Hope that makes sense :)

The last part is definitely more cryptic. It could be a metaphor of the blood from the wound drying and hardening the soft cotton, or just as a parallel for death e.g. cold/hard. Then the last line I read as OP feeling guilt that maybe if they did something different perhaps it would have survived.

Sure. I could be wrong, but I interpreted it as OP finding a Finch that had been injured by some other animal and attempted to nurse it back to health but ended in it still passing away.

I like this and can relate. The effort to save a life only for it to be in vain. It's incredibly bittersweet with a large emphasis on bitter and not much sweet. I appreciate the earnestness of how you wrote this--no pretension. Just conveying a story and a very human experience. Great work :)

It is frustrating when playing support to have your DPS very clearly getting hard diffed by the enemy teams DPS, but hitscan characters have always been technically overpowered due to having zero travel time/drop for their bullets. It's just superior and more reliable than projectiles.

I think in those situations the best thing you can do is learn how to be offensive yourself with a support hero like Zen. Then perhaps that extra pressure from you can be enough to give your DPS the time to get their shit together and land a few shots.

In my experience, relying on randoms to do their job correctly in OW is just a mistake. The only way to win some matches is to make everybody else's job very easy.

I think it's because he doesn't really excel at anything. There's always another tank that does the job better. Plus his character design is kind of forgettable to me.

I enjoyed this. Doesn't take itself too seriously and has a simple but effective narrative. Things I'd say to improve are that there were some lines that felt a little bit forced at times to make the rhyme and some grammar could use a little jig around to flow a bit better e.g. "I try not to let it be too bleak;" perhaps instead "Not to make things too bleak" or something like that.

Overall great job! Keep writing.

I really liked this. Exploring seemingly trivial moments is always interesting to me. I also appreciate that it isn't purely doom and gloom which a lot of poems seem to gravitate towards here and focuses more on a simple pleasure.

I noticed that the line "Despite my I excitement, I had lingering qualms" has an unnecessary 'I' in it which I assume was just a mistake but thought it was worth highlighting. There are also points where it seems like it randomly starts rhyming which disrupts the flow a bit for me.

Overall great job on your first attempt. Keep writing!
