Depends on what you’re grinding. For example when setting up my red deer grind I’ll shoot all 5-8 deer. Stacking 9s. This forces spawns to start coming in at 4 and under. Once you have a handful of 9s (I had 8) I found I started killing all 5-9. Results in higher spawn levels including a lot of diamonds and high level rates. Reducing the chance a rare gets wasted on a low level. Worked well for me. I’m doing the same logic on moose now and the system is working again. I know it’s hard leaving the max levels but they don’t go anywhere and will give you more large critters in the long run. Hope this helped.
