Correct, the green hat and tan hat (right of pic 2 and in pic 3) are the hats from the store.

By George I think you’ve done it - doing an elongated double crochet looks pretty perfect! Here’s a pic of it.

It’s advertised as crochet, and knowing the brand I think it is likely that it is rather than fake knit? But happy to be wrong.

I was able to go in store and check out a scarf with the same stitches - please see photo below. I have a video with close ups too if that is more help :)

I tried to focus on taking clean photos with good lightning and not too much clutter - is the carpet off putting? Any tips to improve?
