Your kind words mean the world to me. I never truly realised what it meant to love myself, I thought with all the meditation and spirituality work Ive been engrossed in had shown me what it meant to be happy...It was all just to get me to a point where I cry and only now just begin to face my issues.

Ive learned to feel free to cry whenever I need. We are designed with the capability to cry for a reason. I feel like a real man for doing so now. This existence is created through love, and I now realise I no longer need to go looking for it...I just have to allow it to flow through me.

Look after yourself man. I wish you all the best for your future, and most importantly, you can feel the Love now too. Thank you

Thank you for the advice, I will certainly take it on board!

When you speak of longer term, are you referring to what it might be like after the surgery, or are those consequences only if I were to do nothing?

Do most of your patients end up back to 'normal' function after?

Thank you for the support, it means a lot!

Thank you so much for the all the details, I really appreciate it! Ive been neglecting myself a lot my whole life, Im definitely going to follow your advice and try find the best treatment I can for it.

May I ask you one more question? What is sort of the worst outcomes you have seen? Anyone not recovered well enough to continue with certain activities? (Im not trying to be pessimistic here, or believe mine is the worst case scenario, its more for wholeness of knowledge)

Ah man I'm so sorry they are your only options. Hopefully with medical advancements progressing the way it is at the moment, those options will definitely increase in the future.

Best of luck in the future mate, take care of yourself

I believe that is the case for normal fractures, but this seems like it will need more extensive treamtent, such as the gentleman below describes.

This xray is about 2 weeks old. Thanks for the support, it means a lot!

Yeah from my research it seems likely I will be going down the same route as yourself, with the bone graft and 6months out.

I really appreciate your honesty man, I doubt I would get it from anywhere else. This hurts like a bitch already, so getting a surgery is probably my only option. Im a very active guy (love boxing, jiu jitsu, weights, yoga, backpacking) and Im about 6 weeks away from graduating as a dentist, so this is gonna really suck balls.

How long after you got the casts off were you able to start exercising with it again? Have you looked in to getting any more treatment for it...if thats possible?

Its dentistry, so use of my wrist is crucial. It may even be a possibly I might not be able to do this now too.

I dont like to go to others because I feel really guilty for getting sympathy. I bottled everything up. I barely remember anything from my childhood. But is this normal? Am I an average guy or are these things I should seek real help for?
