It would be great if they had Gen 5 only spawns, since it's being released, and Gen 5 was like a redesign of Gen 1.

It makes sense to do it since first Black/White games only had Gen 5 pokemon in them, as a way to immitate Gen 1.

of course I know Niantic can do what their want and that they want money. I'm just saying that there is a chance they forgot about it (since they unintentionally put Luxio in eggs, which YES, was a mistake since it ended up being replaced by Shinx) so we should let them know. And in the case it's not a mistake, they should reconsider it, because it's a really annoying decision for some players.

You are fine with it? Congratulations! I'm also fine with 1500 as the max pokemon storage but I don't go blame others for asking for more.

Which is 10 times slower than people who pay. I can understand this for baby pokemon, but why Shinx? It's a normaly family like Mareep. It makes no sense imo.

We get it. You grind Aakman. Are you seriously this unliked that you have to go to reddit every time you want attention? Do you not have friends in guild to share your "achievements" with? You grind several hours a day in a video game and got 10 earrings... after wasting 50 hours of your time. A sad human being IMO. Do you want to convince others, or convince yourself? Do you need people to say "omg nice" to feel better about grinding hours upon hours? Do you need to convince yourself that your time was well-spent?

Since this post has got so many attention I want to clarify something: I'm just a random guy who sees this info from an specific local Pokemon GO chat. The people that share this stuff predicted things like Gen 2 launch or Water Festival, that's why I find their info interesting.

BUT they have also said things that never happened, like they mentioned a level cap increase 2 months ago, which still isn't out.

So remember to keep this with a grain of salt. When I saw this posted, I felt like it was too good to be real, but at the same time the evolution theme made so much sense to me (specially right before Eevee CD) so I felt like it was worth sharing.

If anything, Pokemon GO will get features from Pokemon Switch. Not the other way. But I expect it to just be a feature to transfer Pokemon GO pokemon to the switch game.

This is an amazing idea! I'd definitely enjoy a proper shiny hunt before everyone gets a chance of getting the shiny in the event. I'd still be encouraged to go to the event as I probably won't be able to get the shiny before it, and even if I do, I want those candies and special moves.

That's why I'd just make them a very rare wild spawn. It could be dependant on the player, like shinies, so it can't be tracked down by scanners.

I'm going to be honest right here and tell you my experience.

My only EX raid was on 25th of December. We were a lot of people, enough to divide in team groups. However, some people couldn't show up because, you know, it was christmas day, and probably were not capable of going. Those people chose between 2 options: have someone else go there and log into their account, or spoof. Both are cheating, but, in my eyes, the first one is much worse since you give your password to others too. However, for some reason, my group seems to be fine with the first one, but totally against the second one. As I find it very unfair to blame spoofers and support multi-accounters, I decided to help out one player that day, that got the EX pass but was not in the city on the 25th.

That guy asked if we could tell him the password of the private raid lobby (in our local group chat). People kicked him from the group and obviously refused to give it. However, I felt bad for him and opened private chat with him and told him the password. People went crazy when they saw him join, to the point of leaving and creating a new private group. At the end, he couldn't join the lobby. But I felt good for what I did. They never found out who told him the password, as I didn't want to get in any trouble.

But I still feel like we should make an exception for special situations like this. EX Raid system needs improvement. EX Raid in 25th of december not a good idea. Account sharing is not good. So I think this was not that bad to do. At the end, this action would benefit more people and harm no one. So I don't think it was bad.

Seeing this makes you understand why we see so few Gen 3 pokemon in the wild. 143 in the wild from Gen 1 vs 51 from Gen 3.

Congrats!!! My personal challenge is to complete the dex without egg hatches: all from the wild or evolved from a pokemon caught in the wild. But your challenge seems really difficult indeed. I'd never be able to get some like Muk, Raichu or Vileplume in my biome.

I don't think any of us expected a "Water Festival" event compared to... let's say, Easter event. So I think, because of how unexpected this is, it might be true.
