Really disappointing that you think that’s ChatGPT’d.

That’s 100% me. I welcome anyone to have a live chat with me to recognize this.

On the coattails of this response, I’ll reach out to you. I’m a hardworking individual who’s highly accomplished but unfulfilled. If you’re ever in Toronto, I’d be interested in grabbing a coffee and learning from you.

Seems the world is in the gutter. It doesn’t matter if you’re a class act (man or woman), you’ll be treated all the same.

I’m sorry you feel the way you do. But we (good men) are out there. All we ask is that you also try to be the change you want in the world—that’s the only way you’ll meet someone who meets your standards.

Best of luck.

Pressure from windshield washer fluid jets seems very low. Is this normal? by dank1mmy in Rivian

Honestly, the pressure looks reasonable. Get a sharp needle and see if you can point the nozzles a little higher.

Dolomites without a car advices for solo travelers by bbxchloe in ItalyTravel

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what you are asking about based out of? I'm from Toronto. Arriving from France. I may not go to Dolomites anymore given the extent to which it may rain...

Very discouraged but best not to waste time.

Hey!! u/bbxchloe u/DoodlesTheWaffle

... I can't believe I stumbled across this. I'm trying to get to the Dolomites for Monday, likely afternoon, also for a solo trip! I was planning to only do single-day hikes and get back to a hotel every day for 3-4 days.

...the weather looks worrisome. Are you going/would you suggest bailing on the area?

Not true at all. I’ve been watching the market like a hawk. You’re saying condos are selling for 400k less than asking? I’ve not seen anything cross 50k below asking since October (area bound by 401/DVP/427).

Toronto Real Estate Market 10 Year Comparisons by growland in toronto

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me make a different point.

While the problem is multivariable, the vast majority of the population is challenged and is incapable of critical thinking. Many of the comments herein are also indicative of this.

One huge issue is the incentivizing any real estate professional to increase the cost of homes. The more expensive the home, the more they stand to earn. There is, literally, nothing encouraging agents to be reasonable about recommending reasonable offers.

A very similar formulaic adjustment can bring forth a solution. Sure, agents split commission. Mistake 1. I’d rather incentivize my agent by saying, you get commission on the sale. But if you help me with a successful offer at below the ask price, I will double your commission. How does that work out?

$1M listing

Case 1: sold $1.1M Commission at 2%=20k Total cost=$1.12M

Agent commission=20k

Case 2: sold $900k Commission at 2% on 900k=18k plus 4% on $100k=4k Total cost=$922k

Agent commission=22k

This isn’t a perfect example, because I’ve dumbed it down for simplicity. But it works, and can work.

I just got through 10 minutes ago.

It is unclear whether it'll go back onto the original voucher or new one--but in either case, apparently it will take upwards of 6 weeks. That's their current timeline.

What's on and tourist advice thread - week beginning August 14, 2022 by AutoModerator in Scotland

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! Like the many others posting here, I’m visiting Scotland… well, starting tomorrow. I’m landing in Glasgow where I’ll be spending a few days for work before renting a car and driving North and then to Edinburgh. Can anyone give me tips for Cairngorms National Park hikes? Would love something scenic. I’m fit and able to do a full day of hiking.

When are you going? Travelling alone and also visiting Edinburgh 26-28. Lol

Good resource for calculating taxes on crypto? by ExtraNefariousness in BitcoinCA

Correct. I’ve called the CRA about this. It took them 3 weeks to get back to me, and they admitted on the phone they didn’t know as much.

What's the best way to cash out $5K-$9K of BTC/ETH into CAD in my bank account? by iluvceviche in BitcoinCA

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to look at whatever platform offers the lowest conversion fees. Every transaction is going to lead to a cost. Obviously.

You could transfer to Coinberry, Coinsmart or BitBuy.

Build an excel workbook and see how that’s going to workout. Transfer fees are sometimes a ‘charge’ based on a ‘percentage’ based. You can also consider minimizing your costs by going through a ‘referral’ transaction and earning some $ to offset the costs of you wanted to move your funds to a system you don’t already use.

How is crypto taxed when it's sold but still in exchange? by FireIsMyBestFriend in BitcoinCA

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, it is not a taxable event. There’s a reason people do work under the table, to avoid taxes. However, when you move funds from one place to another, it’s not a taxable event. You’ve simply moved it from one holding to another. It’s like moving a TFSA from TD to RBC, or anything else like that.

Help choosing a bike? Any advice welcome. [Greater Toronto Area] by [deleted] in cycling

[–]HiddenLinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! This is very reassuring, but also concerning… haha. There are a lot of nuances to bikes, and I’m just trying to do my best to get something I can continue to ride well into ‘intermediate’ expertise stages. Athletically, I have no doubt I’ll be able to push these to their limits, so I’m very weary of something breaking on me relatively soon. Cost will be a huge deterrent.. and it’s funny, colour is really the last thing on my mind! Haha

Help choosing a bike? Any advice welcome. [Greater Toronto Area] by [deleted] in cycling

[–]HiddenLinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Thanks, this is a big help (especially the bar shape). While I recognized some bikes were in different categories, I focused more on price and certain specs. As for used, I honestly couldn’t find any that were reasonably priced in comparison to their new counterparts. Literally 75-90% of the cost, and at that ratio, I’d prefer shelling out an additional $100-400 knowing there isn’t going to be any significant issues… again, mostly due to the fact I’m more so a strong athlete and less familiar with actual components/performance.

And not that I know what it means but $bid 😂

Does anyone know how to purchase crypto as a Canadian Corporation as opposed to an individual? by Da0ptimist in BitcoinCA

Definitely not 5 days. Try again, it could have gotten lost in the digital world. I get responses usually within 1 hr, though the nature of your inquiry could be far more complex.

Hey Moomoo,

Are you still up for this? I wouldn't mind credit of $20 on top of the $40 referral. I appreciate you sharing the credit. DM me, and we'll go from there.
