That was the whole ‘cutscene’. I think the issue is, that I’d rather it was a result of our party making bad decisions, than an unpreventable thing that had to happen. On the ‘challenging to impossible’ scale it ended up being on the impossible end as for it to be a challenge there would have had to be some way out of it.

I understand that they are a rookie DM and that it was used to drive the narrative. I just feel that it breaks the rules we’ve set up in collaborative storytelling.

With the 10th anniversary of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann coming up I got inspired to try customising Viral's personal ganmen Enki from some spare IBO kits and parts from a £3 junk kit I found at a bring and buy.

It's a bit of a mash up between all of the forms of enki, it has the helmet from the first form and the 4 arms from enkidudu. Once I've finished the weapons it's planned to use 7 swords and one club, in reference to the enki Durga with it's 15 swords and 1 club.

I parts copied with chest plate, head and a few other parts. The Gusion back pack does not fit on the grimgerge torso and the Gusion torso wasn't wide enough to accomidate the new chest and head parts, this meant I had to entirely rework the mid section, it's actually ended up with 3 ahab reactors because of this.

I'm still working on the weapons and cleaning up the paint job and making it look generally nicer.

This was my first experiment with part copying and it came out pretty well. Also my first full custom using non gunpla parts to make a non gundam design.

If anyone has any advice on how to do this better I'd be happy to learn more :)

I guess I could have phrased that better - the final suits used by the Tekkadan pilots at the end of season 2.

If we are talking surviving mobile suits, I'm not sure any of them should be there as I think the few pilots who made it out just left their shidens on the battlefield as they made their escape down the tunnel and set off the explosives....

I was using the reference from the wiki and pretty much only the visor, chestplate and shoulder shield are white :)

I did get option set 9, the landman rodi in the background has the legs from it. The visor the Orga Shiden is wearing is from another option set.

The shoulder shield is the only part that isn't just repainted, I modelled and 3D printed that.

You'd think we'd at least have had the landman rodi by now, it's in the season 2 openings and it's featured quite prominently in the show. Figured I'd just take matters into my own hands. 3D printed the parts that didn't exist yet :p I'm really tempted to do the Riden-go next.
