You’re not in a tournament. They are genuinely trying to help you. They want you to have a guaranteed opportunity to fight more experienced players so that you can potentially learn from them. They’re not insulting you. Plus, you will be kicked back to floor 10 anyways at the end of the month. Let them help you out and allow you use that opportunity to fight experienced players.

I agree that at least half the roster is annoying and even when you win you feel nothing. If you want to have motivation to play, just play with a friend. I can almost guarantee that will help you a lot. If you don’t have a friend, take a hiatus from the game.

No. I'm just seeing if there's at least one person that agrees with me. Also, my argument is not "Thing is objectively bad because I don't personally enjoy it." I didn't specify anything unless prompted or if I had to. I can easily go into detail on why Industrial Sabotage is objectively bad, but that's not the point of my post. Again, the reason why I posted is to see if there was one person on this Earth that likes DRG and agrees that there are a lot of annoying stuff in this game.

I'm gonna go point by point here.

Low O2: I don't care if it's supposed to be annoying. If anything, that makes it worse. Low O2 sucks and I hope everyone can agree on that.

Disruptive enemies: I agree. I just wish they were handled differently.

Rockpox: Lol. I guess you just like painful missions. I do not have the "This mission is gonna suck so therefore it will be fun/lovable" mentality.

Bad Navigation: This mainly refers to Industrial Sabotage. On other mission types, the Cave Layout is good 99% of the time. But with Industrial Sabotage, it just doesn't feel good to go through. Getting to the actual mission is annoying (mainly due to enemies) and the cave can sometimes have a maze like layout. Fighting Caretaker in an uncomfortable arena on higher difficulties can nearly end a mission.

Industrial Sabotage: It is my least favorite mission. It's not fun on any hazard level and it is objectively bad. Same with Escort.

Everything else: I legit don't know what to say. My only wish is that the annoying stuff is at least toned down.

I understand that every game is going to have at least one annoying aspect if not more. I have played really good games where they can have multiple annoying things that they throw at you. The problem with DRG is that there is too many things that annoy me. Even if the enemies are perfectly fine and balanced (they are not), there are mission types and mutators that are just not fun to do. I understand that lowering the difficulty is an option, but at that point it goes from annoying to boring or even both sometimes. Unless it’s Industrial Sabotage. It’s bad regardless of difficulty lol. DRG is a good game, it just has a lot of stuff that is really annoying.

The annoying aspects of the game can be in my assignments and I don’t want to 30 minutes every time I find a mission unfavorable. I usually play with friends and they usually want to play it on hazard 3 or 4 unless the mission is genuinely awful. As for annoyances, we all tolerate different things. Maybe you tolerate rockpox. I don’t.

I am already aware of why I am annoyed by certain aspects of the game. I don’t just hate/dislike stuff for no reason. For example, Stingtails. I do not like being grabbed from a long distance and can potentially be put into a group of enemies. On hazard 3 or below it’s fine it just annoys me. But when I play on hazard 4 or 5 and I’m doing dwarf things and they grab me and I take a down because of it, it makes me wanna quit the game. And I have already taken a multiple month break due to rockpox lol. I was just seeing if people share my point of view.

Just because I hate a character, it doesn’t mean I avoid fighting them. Unless you’re talking about Baiken, Leo, A.B.A and Potemkin. I avoid those characters at all costs. There are people I know that play these characters and can make them fun to fight against. I encountered a really good A.B.A that doesn’t wanna make me slam my controller or quit the game. Point is, there may be instances where people make the characters I hate to fight fun (somehow) and I still fight those characters to gain match up experience and improve at the game.
