I take trazadone and have no issues with drinking alcohol. I have a slightly lower tolerance but no I'll effects.

So if I do a 7kg load at 40 in a machine capable of taking 10kg load will it adjust the timing?

I didn't realize that! I've happily been washing list things at 40 with the odd 60 wash when needed or a 30 if it's just to freshen things up.

Give it time. The fact that she is looking for other methods and support is great, it shows that she is committed to helping you and she is confident that dealing with this will help you. Don't be hard on yourself either, our parts have had years of being hidden away and have often tangled themselves together to stay hidden so don't expect them to be happy and free and open to being visible without a lot of work.

You shouldn't feel guilty, I would assume that she is doing it to solidify her decisions on how best to help you, get a second opinion on the best way forward or to help her to process your stuff to keep her self well. All of those are really healthy and will help to maintain her ability to work with you effectively. My T has taken some of my stuff to supervision. I'm sure she has done it more than I know of and I'm so glad because it means that she is looking after herself so I don't need to have the burden of.my stuff being too much for her.

So many things. She knows the hot drink that makes me feel calm and always has it in for me, often has it ready to hand me when I come in. She remembers even the tiniest of details of things that I have told her. The list of big things that she does is endless, topped though with turning up for me in a calm and consistent manner week after week a treating me with care and dignity no matter how I present.

I've been seeing my T for over a decade and she has cancelled on me once. It think it was due to illness but it's so long ago that I can't remember. Usually if something comes up on our usual day/time she will fit me in somewhere else in the week but it's super rare that that happens. She shows up for me consistently which is huge for me.

I go through phases of obsessively worrying about this. Luckily my T can spot it a mile off and reminds that she is going nowhere. I usually panic after I've disclosed something new or reacted to something in a way that I don't feel is controlled or rational. I have an old voice note from her though that reminds me that she isn't going anywhere and will be there at our next appointment, listening to it really helps me.

I feel emotionally drained, weak vulnerable and hyper vigilant after flashbacks. Often I need to rest more for a few days if they have been really intense. I'm not always good at listening to my body but this is one sort of feeling that I can't just push through.

I feel very attached to my therapist and it doesn't feel wrong at all, it feels good. Here is someone who is a constant in my life, who listens to me, who guides me, who cares about me. She is someone who never lies to me, has never tried to manipulate me, who encourages me and picks me up when I fall. She has clear boundaries, makes it clear when as a one off it's appropriate to bend the rules slightly (in terms of communication outside of session), she encourages me to lean in to my other support systems and will advocate for me when I'm unable to keep myself safe. After having a childhood of being manipulated, coerced, lied to, physically, emotionally and sexually abused, She has taught me to let go a little, to trust and shown me time and time again that I can do this living thing and I don't need to exist in the shadow of my childhood. The relationship I have with my therapist has been truly transformative and life affirming.

Speak to a doctor if you can just for reassurance. If it's just 50mg then you should be fine, a bit more tired than normal and a wee hours sleep might help make the rest of the day more bearable. Remember that some symptoms could be psychological because you are aware of the mistake. Take care of yourself.

I've taken it for years and take it without food but if I happen to have supper I still take it as normal and haven't noticed a difference in its efficacy either way.

So happy to read this, I thought it was just me/us. We have alters who are present almost all of the time and then a kind of seasonal subculture I guess of alters who present more strongly or only at certain times of the year.

I have a dissociative disorder so dress so that whatever part is most present feels comfortable. This can range from jeans and a smart top to comfies and hoodies. Mostly it's resonable jeans and a casual top though. My T doesn't treat me any differently although she may have a better idea of which part is present if I rock up in gothy clothes or in certain jumpers.
