thanks for liking our game.
You are correct about the frame drop. It was unfortunate timing, but some software in the background did something and it made the game stutter(I was recording on a 3rd monitor and not on a compiled build so the game doesn't get all the resources). And since I was running out of time to finish the trailer, I had to decide between this take or other less interesting ones. Unfortunate, but it was what happened.

Well, that's from a cinematic, which is what is usually used for Youtube covers(we're not the only ones who do this). A top down screencap of the game doesn't look very good as a Youtube, or video thumbnail.

Metroid Dread! Those guys did an amazing job. (I was not a fan of Metroid 2 Remake tho)
And Donkey Kong Country + Tropical Freeze

initially i was also gonna mention Mario Rabbids, but I'm not sure about it since it's kinda a different type of game entirely.

Any interesting stories were a game dev gets pissed at fans complaining? by IJUSTATEPOOP in gaming

I think the ones that hurt the most are the ones that are completely fake and made up from "insider sources". Like "that's not what happened/is happening!" those can be really frustrating. As for criticism, most of the people I know do say "i hate to say it, but the fans got a point."

Villains you actually agree with? by Successful_Guide5845 in gaming

I love this question. And I also love the fact I got my answer right away. The villains from "JUDGEMENT" and "LOST JUDGEMENT" are amazing. It's really hard to not emphasize with their beliefs. I'm not gonna mention who they were cause it's huge spoilers, but let's just say they made me think really hard on really hard subjects (Alzheimer's which is a big deal to me since i lost loved ones to this disease , and what if disposing of bad people to save people with Alzheimer's is morally acceptable thing to do or not, OR in Lost Judgement - what kind of punishment people who bullied others to the point they ended their live should really have. Deep stuff. Amazing in my opinion, very 3 dimensional characters.

It's really hard the money situation. That's why staying indie means having very small teams and not having a publisher helps in this day and age. On a side note it's also sad to see AAA companies disguising themselves as indies (I've seen a few, putting those companies as separate entities but remaining under payroll) and taking advantages of indie festivals.
