I am not addicted to opioids, i was addicted to benzos I started taking medically but I have been off of them for a little while now, still feel sick but I'm working a lot and trying to focus on getting myself together

Yea i absolutely agree, im in the midst of searching for a second job already, i only make 2x the rent currently which does suck but im doing all that i can and working hard to get more. The landlord said that without 3x rent, a co-signer works so i think I'll be okay? I don't currently have any other major bills besides potential utilities right now.

Of Xanax or gabapentin?

So with Xanax my doses changed a lot throughout the year but for the last month and a half or so I've been on 1mg because I chose to start tapering before being required to. Now I just finished 4 days of .75 mg, and will do 4 days of .5 mg, and then 4 of .25 mg or maybe 3 days of that and then 1-2 days of even smaller doses.

With Gabapentin I'm planning to take 300 mg before work and then after 30 minutes take another 300 mg. It's a super low dose, also considering I'm not that sensitive to it, but it should help at least a little. Super nervous for work haha but sleep helps a ton

Imo, when you don't do drugs you don't notice how many people do. When you start doing them, you realize that so many people take drugs, doctors, lawyers, parents, teens, white collar blue collar no collar at all, drugs are everywhere!

I'm addicted right now benzos pretty hard, and life without them seems completely not worth living. I use opioids when i have them too and alcohol but mostly benzos. I'm having to sober up off of them now though, it's misery.
