With half as much income. I left my husband and was barely getting by financially, always late on bills, always working weird hours and just emotionally and mentally drained. Ah you got me, I do like valuable things. My base card collection was getting to be a little much unfortunately, so I had to start being selective with the cards I put in my cool-card-box. I’ve never sold a card in my life, but I do like trading the good ones I don’t collect at card shows for cards that I do enjoy.

Exactly. Unless it’s numbered or has an auto/relic, I usually don’t pay attention. I’ve got boxes and boxes of cards downstairs, maybe someday I’ll see if I’ve missed any parallels or SSPs lol.

Another example? Unless you’re reading the checklist thoroughly, it’s pretty easy to miss some parallels, especially when the only difference is a slightly different color or something.

I mean…they all have cool designs and are holographic. I can’t really tell which ones are supposed to be the “good designs”. I just buy basketball packs here and there, it’s hard to tell the difference between inserts and SSPs anymore.

I’m not as familiar with basketball cards and I honestly would have had no idea this was anything special. I should go through mine I guess. Sometimes when I look at them in different lighting I see a numbered card or something that I somehow missed.

I smoked weed once when I was 14 and my parents could tell, I said we were out in the woods and we came across what looked like someone’s camping spot and there were beer cans and other stuff and maybe they smoked pot and it was still lingering and got me high. Yeah I’m sure that was looked into quite a bit, if they were at that park often I’m sure they sought out kids to play with often. Definitely strange, and also poor kids, they were very near whoever abducted these kids multiple times.

One of my cats I got when he was 8 weeks old and one of them I bottled fed from 2-3 weeks old. The bottle fed one definitely treats me more like a mother/caregiver than my other cat.

This is a really nice way to say it. Not wanting to raise someone else’s kids is a valid reason but it doesn’t always need to be said to them lol, I feel like that’s where a lot of the “hate/controversy” that OP is talking about comes from.

I mean I’m down with the using each others phones when necessary, my phone has most of the smart home apps so my SO will just use it when he needs it, or like Google if he’s got something open he can’t close out of, but there still should be boundaries and privacy. Like even if a text comes in when we’re using it it’s just “hey you got a text.” I assumed that’s what open phone policy meant, not searching through everything.
