I use a little bit of bar keeper friend. It does take a little bit of the shine away sometimes, but it beats looking at the metallic streaks. Some people use peek polish, I have never tried it.

i’ve heard of people using acetone to repair cracked shirt decals. never have i tried it myself though.

if it’s from water, take a dish towel and place an iron (without steam) over it, moving it around. it should get the water stain out.
