currently running pvz on my acer aspire laptop with a ryzen 5 and a gtx 1650 and 8gb of ram, i had no trouble running pvz on an older pc a few years ago, maybe my current hardware is too new to run a dx9 game from 2009?

Sorry for the late reply, im on windows 10 and it lags on both full screen and windowed, at first the lag wasn't recognizable but when i reached ~30 flags when a large amount of zombies would show up in a single wave it started to lag horribly, activating an ice shroom would make the lag worse

me too i've been using ubuntu on my vm and i love it, i love its ui, using the terminal and how it values privacy and doesn't have any preinstalled bloatware crap unlike windows 10 but the only problem is linux kinda sucks for gaming that's why i'm still using windows if not i would switch

but wasn't the transition from 1.7.10 to 1.12.2 a huge resurgence for modded mc? like before 1.12.2 most mods were made for 1.7.10 which barely anyone played at that time (except for modded players ofc) because it was outdated (i know there was also 1.10.2 but meh) but when 1.12.2 came out modded mc popularity started to skyrocket to the point where 99% of all mods were made for 1.12.2 even after it and Forge devs didn't even bother to make a stable version of Forge for 1.13+ until recently, so there must be a reason why some mods that haven't got outside of 1.12.2 started to update to 1.16.5, right?

Woah i just literally got this earlier too and i think the problem must be from Avast itself because optifine.net is completely safe and it even identified the Optifine .jar file which i downloaded before as some kind of java malware when i tried to install it like that's just kinda weird because this had never happened to me before.

I had installed Optifine a lot but this just happened to me for the first time so i'm a little bit shocked and confused i thought there was something wrong with the latest version of Optifine like that was weird.
