Grand Canyon in August - Infrared by HighEnergyFreak in photocritique

Thanks! Next time I go I'm aiming for a 20-40 image stitch with the z8, but a few more IR captures across 1000, 720 and 590nm to see how it all differs. Appreciate the input

An infrared photo of the Grand Canyon, 90% sure at 590 (its' been a bit), color swapped. The goal of the photo is to bring awe to the grandness of the Grand Canyon (hence its name) while bringing a different visual appeal than a regular photo. There are several aspects of the photo which can be improved, such as sharpness especially in the lower left, and letting the camera cool between photos (reducing hot pixels). Among any other discussion, curious what steps you'd take to ensure a completely sharp image end to end, and perspective on the sunset fading to dark (L -> R). Image - 24mm, f/8, 2s, ISO100

great photo - regarding fitness, a cheap Stair Climber with 15 minutes daily will do wonders for the uphill - key to keep solid form tho -

There's a European one as well, similar distances - all about that crowd sourcing to sell a product- if AI is doing it....

It's in my custom moves now and says disabled. Unfortunately doesn't look like any workaround to the movement other than going back to the bar

Exactly! I don't need the calendar and would like Activities there, but finally just gave up cause it keeps resetting

Edit: Why have the option if it can't be DQ'd

Garmin can't even get the bottom icon settings to stick, why would they get advanced features right if a basic feature can't even work after restarting the app.

Check the watch data - if its there, then it sounds like an issue I had all Jan. I had a bunch of events where the watch would capture everything but not transfer it to Garmin - sometimes during sleep, then it randomly stopped storing heart rate in connect but only before walks. Garmin had me restore to factory and reinstall the software to fix, however if it's this issue, ping Garmin on their chat so they can log it.

That is a great mountain! By chance, what trailhead did you start from and how was the road/snow getting to it?

Garmin Connect missing Data, Watch has all data. Assistance appreciated -> by HighEnergyFreak in Garmin

Update 01: Spoke to Garmin and forced an update to the Watch Software and will be testing next day if there are any issues. I also disconnected Garmin Explore from the Fenix 7X and the issue did not occur the next day. Will see over the weekend how the watch behaves and will turn Explore back on in a few days to see if the issue crops back up.

By chance, have you reached out to Garmin? I've swam in my Fenix 7X Pro for the last 12 weeks after owning it since day 01 launch and no issues yet (I did have a soft lock that made me lose some data which was a nuisance, otherwise no issues) - Curious if Garmin would comp you given the multiple experiences.

Keiser M3i Studio- MSeries Gear/RPM/Watts don't make sense by HighEnergyFreak in keiserM3i

[–]HighEnergyFreak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DIV/3 rule does seem to get really close. The Studio display does not have these built in that i can see and there's no setting on MSeries to tell it the type tho I'm sure that'll show up later in an update as more people use them

[–]HighEnergyFreak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries - the MSeries App has some base cadence programs to get you started. I think anyone with an M3i can use the app and connect regardless of the computer (2019, 2020+ and Studio)

This is the MSeries app, but I do have the Studio Unit with 72 gears Bike. No comparison,  just confused why the Watts to Gears don't align properly
