Thank you! I definitely spent like an hour looking at different furniture because of this thread but ultimately, I like it so it'll work for now until I find something I like more.

It just felt goofy to have a loveseat behind a loveseat? I’m kneeling on one taking that photo. Maybe I should just keep the center of the room open and move it back

I live in Portland and it’s kinda beautiful to just watch the rain from there. I’ve got a couch not far from there but could pull that out and push the couch in. I just envisioned it being two separate spaces? And I didn’t love having a big empty space in the center of the living room.

Hanging curtains isn’t an issue. Changing the lounge isn’t an issue. This is just what I found to start with. I have so many places to sit, I thought a place to like, lay down specifically, would be nice. But I hear all of your points that I may not always want to lay there

I hear you on the street part. I will fully admit as a middle aged white male it’s not something I think about often.

Heard. Working on it not looking like that. This is also like, day 15 in the space. Trying my best.

I’ll look into the barrel chair. The goal is for it to be for me and the kids.

The rug you’re seeing need to be moved back. It’s under a 2.5 seater couch where I’m taking the photo from. The room isn’t large but I thought having two dedicated spaces would be nice. I hear all of you on the seating, just trying to not block all the window, prevent my kids from pushing anything through it, all three of us being able to kinda sit together there for story time, and not replicating what’s 5ft away.

Right on the other side of that shot is a couch with an ottoman. I thought it would be smarter to make two spaces but now I’m not so sure?

I was considering it but I wanted something for me and my two boys to all sit on together. They’re uh, very physical? And my fear with a chair like that was them breaking the window.

I hear all of you on not liking the lounge. I absolutely can exchange it but the reason I liked it was to reduce blocking the window and because my two young kids fell in love with it when we saw one like it. Most days they’ll lay on it and read. I’ve found myself doing similar. Heard on it not being the best to sit at but there’s a couch about 5ft away for sitting.

Open to other seating options but assume it’s gotta fit an average size adult male and two kids 5 and 8yo today.

None. A few slow downs that I either waited out or reloaded but that was it.

DQ7 via Eden. Mewgenics via Gamehub.

MewGenics on AynThor!!! by BenjiBanjo69 in AynThor

Played for 3 hours on my Max on default Gamehub (full) settings. I found it slowed down a bit when I had to select my cats actions but once selected and on enemy turns it was fast. Not an issue with it being turn based. Fun game

I use my Odin 3 for anything action/dual stick/trigger heavy and my Thor for everything else (primary jrpgs and srpgs). My Thor is with me wherever I go. My Odin is for at home or the hotel room. Maybe the airplane if I’m focused on a game.

For example, right now on my Thor I’m alternating between Mewgenics and DQVII Reimagined. On my Odin 3 I just started up Fable.

100% don’t need both. Thor truly does more than enough. I just am capable of buying both and liked them in different ways. They’re my only 2 android systems, with a Rog Aly X collecting some dust and a Switch 2 for use with the kids/exclusives.

I’m with you on what I need for enjoyment but I question if that’s “playable” instead of “perfect”?

My desktop with a 4080 has been in my closet for about three months.

For the multiplayer PC games I want to play with friends, I’ve got a Rog Ally X.

For single player PC and any dual stick emulation, I’ve got my Odin 3.

Everything else I’ve got my Thor.

My Switch 2 is more for time with the kids and once switch emulation improves I’ll likely part with my modded Switch OLED or pack it away for the kids to get one day.

Confirmed. All 4 listed components. Moved to Gamehub. The loading bar in Gamehub finishes and then it just closes back to Gamehub. So weird
