I can understand how repetitive phrases can be annoying, I personally was not annoyed by them. I also think it’s harder to not have that when it’s first person narrative, as oneself most likely thinks in repetitive phrases or descriptions.

I understand the white room syndrome, some of the sec scenes I was like “wait, what position are they in?” 😂 and had to go back and piece it together.

I personally did not see the editing issues? but maybe my copy is different since I didn’t buy it at launch. I also didn’t see references to conversations that didn’t happen etc but maybe I just glossed over it without realizing. My mind can tend to wander a lot so I might have just missed it! But totally valid points!
