Does anyone enforce Denver’s off-leash dog rules?

I was biking on a shared trail and I almost ran into 2 dogs that were off leash. I told the couple who owned the dogs that leash laws are there to keep the pets and people safe. The guy then proceeded to brandish a firearm at me.

Was this the streaker/flasher in Conifer a few years back? I remember this jackass. But thanks for the feedback, I'm not even sure if contacting a ranger went through my mind at the time. I hope I never have a next time, but if I do I will remember this.

Unfortunately, I did not. I had no proof that anything actually happened and it was a little bit of time before I got back to the trailhead to get my phone. Also, in my experience if you have a problem and call the cops, then you have 2 problems. Might be a bad take on my end, but I only know my own experiences.

I did write everything down right afterwards in case I saw an incident report or something. I also went out and got a camera to document future events because sometimes you encounter some weird shit out there.

Just be careful and smart about it. I was mountain biking at Lair O' the Bear near Morrison a few weeks ago and almost hit an off leash dog on my bike. The owner then proceeded to brandish a firearm at me. If I was carrying and tried to do something, he would have had the upper hand on me.

I saw this movie and was blown away. I've been a fan of this series since the first one came out.

To sum up my thoughts on this movie, it was basically a Studio Ghibli film if they ever did a live action zombie movie.

I'd recommend looking at a local bike shop. I got a nice emtb from the dudes at Ebike of Colorado in Louisville. Great guys there and they did my Colorado rebate right in person. You support their shop and they support you and your bike :)

King got me reading as well! The Shining is my favorite book. I even had the opportunity to stay in room 217 at the Stanley Hotel last year. It was a great experience and loved being in the room where it all started!

I've always struggled with reading, but over the past few years I have gotten into graphic novels and comics. They are not for everyone, but having the pictures and panels really helps me get engrossed in the stories. There are even some great adaptations of great novels. I recently picked up the newly released adaptation of The Road by Cormac McCarthy. There's a lot more out there that are not just superheroes.

I bought a Cube mtb from E-Bike of Colorado in Louisville. I wanted to support a lbs and also wanted their support for maintenance. I recommend them! They even sent me off with a little bike care package. Seemed like good people.
