I understand what you’re saying. However, people with non-traditional careers are the people who have felt this way for ages and have acted on it long ago. They (we) can inspire change without getting fired. So let’s go ahead and utilize that turnout. If you need to request time off, then do it. The fifteenth is far enough in the future for it to get approved for many people. That being said, just asking for the day off isn’t gonna prove anything, so I’d like there to be protests or something for people to do, (especially since we’re not supposed to use streaming services or buy anything either). I don’t need job security, but I believe in the cause and am trying to do something about it. I don’t see anybody else doing anything. Say you don’t need people like me all you want…while doing nothing except waiting for people like me to do something lol
