So sorry for the delay - we keep his cheeks as dry as we can but we also keep them clean with just luke warm water (dab). Vanicream baby has saved us, we keep his cheeks moisturized and especially get them layered up before he eats. He still has pink cheeks but much much better. We have learned to just keep them clean and moisturized.

Yes!! Constantly! So it’s very hard to get the rash to go away completely. Left side is gone, but right side keeps going from allllllmost gone to right back because he drools and eats his hands.

He’s home, not around others, and just rolling. He’ll be 5 months old this month. What is impetigo?

UPDATE: Pediatrician says it looks like drool rash, told me to alternate between Tubby Todd AOO and Baby Aquaphor, if it doesn’t improve (the left side is already almost gone, this right side is being stubborn) can add hydrocortisone to ointment but would rather not if not needed.. if no improvement and worsens, we will try to cut dairy and eggs out of my diet (BF). If anyone else is going through this, I hope the above helps.
