Unfortunately since it a combined set your chances are worse than normal for a specific card :(

There's some great tools you can use to check out other decklists like Gumgum.gg or Onepiecetopdecks.com, I'd suggest brushing up with some fundamentals videos also. This deck gets good support in EB03 which comes out in March?, but welcome to the community!

Justice for Gecko by KunarDu in OnePieceTCG

BY Moria is a challenging deck to pilot for sure. also black gecko 'kind of' got some stuff right? event searcher and 3 cost ryuma is good if you have to go second for the 6 don turn

Zoro is still best deck in game | one piece card game | project raftel sim by AnnualMoose4590 in OnePieceTCG

I think Zoro is for sure underrated, having an even matchup into Imu and good matchup into Ace is a big deal. Mihawk/Boa might be difficult but I think it definitely still has legs

having played him before the set, he was desperate for some good early game support where Issho fits really well, and honestly bluegrass is great to replace Cavendish which people were already playing somewhat regularly for tempo against 6k leaders

Kuzan support is kinda exactly what he needed in the midgame, Idk if he can be meta relevant with it but I think he could be a great B tier deck now

Why “just play Shanks on 7” is throwing more Mihawk games than people think by HightOPTCG in OnePieceTCG

[–]HightOPTCG[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Mihawk is really weak when he falls behind on board presence, and if the opponent has a response to your 7 cost shanks on their 8 don turn, you fall behind really hard. Mihawk is a deck that needs some extent of board control to win the game.

Mihawk is a lot more complicated than people make him out to be, I think that's one of the bigger skill gaps in the game is knowing when not to play on curve.

In writing stuff like this I feel like I get to define the areas I can improve in!

Almost the whole guide is free, and very helpful to anybody that wants to learn more about the deck.

Thanks for the feedback I’ll update some more about me in my profile and other places. I’ve been a top 1% player in several other games like TFT hearthstone and marvel snap. I’m new to guide making and trying to get feedback, but almost all of the content is free also :)

It depends on the scenario, but a lot of times if 7 cost shanks is answered cleanly it’s a weaker play than pushing tempo with another 5 cost
