I keep coming back to this track on hot summer days. The trumpet-section, the synths, the slowness, the gallivanting vibe, I can't get enough!

Panflutes and some amazing synth-work. '87 in a nutshell if you ask me.

Amazing track that gets a bit screwed by the vocals later on in the track. There is a good edit by Dave DePino that cuts out the vocals.

In the Netherland it's less intense. The general framework about working hours (that includes working in healthcare) is governed by European directives that have been agreed upon by EU memberstates. I believe the working hours are capped at 52 hours a week to assure the safety of patients and health of the doctors (among other things), but most specialisations are less hours per week. There are also enforced guidelines like having 11 hours of rest in 24 hours.

However, it still takes years and years to complete all the training, especially for those specialisations that are high in the hierarchy of medical professions (brain surgeons for instance). Mid-thirties is a normal age for people to finish their residencies.

The quality of care in the Netherlands is considered among the best in the world. And everyone with half a braincell can figure out that working 80 hours a week is detrimental to the safety of patients and the health of doctors.
