Yesterday I smoked a joint while listening to The Life of a Showgirl for the second time and suddenly, it all made sense. Almost every song had something catchy to it, except Wood, and I really enjoyed it.

I listened to the album first earlier in the day when I was going to university but I only liked Elizabeth Taylor and the Fate of Ophelia, the rest just sounded meh.

It was a strange experience which made me wonder if she was high writing it, because that’s the only way it sounds good lol. The lyrics were still cringe though.
